
Councillor Poppy Farmer was elected to Dorchester Town Council for the Dorchester East ward in May 2024. She has lived in this part of Dorchester for well over 10 years. She loves where she lives and is honoured to represent this area on the town council.
Poppy has completed a course in equine management at Kingston Maurward College, and was elected on these aims:
- protect our local wildlife, community and green spaces
- improve opportunities for young people
- campaign for truly affordable housing
- support local independent shops, traders and farm-to-fork enterprises
- support for disadvantaged families
- listening to and speaking up for others.
